Deborah Bush, President
Deborah Bush is a full-time, second year student, concentrating in Marketing. Prior to attending Fordham, Deborah worked in the food service and hospitality industry. Deborah managed restaurant operations at Shea Stadium, was a part of the opening team at Citi Field managing the food operations on the Club Level. Deborah has experience in managing a number of employees, events, inventory control, and purchasing.
Stephen Gorman, Vice President of Marketing
Stephen is a full-time, first year student, concentrating in Finance and Accounting. Prior to attending Fordham, Stephen has over four years of marketing and sales experience. Most recently, he was a marketing analyst at Empire Merchants, the leading wine and liquor distributor in New York. Stephen was responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Brown Forman portfolio which is amongst the 10 largest global spirits companies. Prior to joining Empire Merchants, Stephen worked for a start up hospitality consulting firm where he was an account executive for projects at the Borgata Hotel & Casino and Sushi Samba Dallas. Stephen earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel Administration from Cornell University.
Eric Sprehe, Vice President of Alumni Relations
Eric Sprehe is a full-time, second year student, concentrating in Finance and Management. Prior to attending Fordham, Eric worked in management in the hospitality industry in the Washington DC Metro Area. Most recently, he interned at a small family finance company and gained valuable experience in mergers and acquisitions as well as exposure to stock and options trading. He looks forward to opening his own company in the future utilizing his education at Fordham. As an undergrad, Eric earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Spanish and Business at the University of Maryland.
Chris McGrath, Vice President of Technology
Chris is a second year part time student concentrating in Finance. He has over 8 years of experience in IT infrastructure and currently works as a Systems Engineer at Transervice Logistics, a midsize transportation company based in Long Island. During his time at Transervice, Chris has worked on a number of projects including business continuity and datacenter virtualization. Chris expects to graduate in May 1013, and plans to use his MBA to start a consulting company.
Yingchun Chen, International Student Liason
Yingchun Chen is a full-time, first year student, concentrating in Finance. Prior to attending Fordham, Yingchun worked in HSBC China and gained over 4 years banking experience in Financial Services, Business Development, and Risk Management. She is also talented in music and good at playing traditional Chinese instruments. As an international student, she looks forward to enhancing the influence of FES among international students and increasing the involvement and interest of the international student community.
Ella HE, International Student Liason
Ella (Shuyao HE) is a first year, full time, MS in Accounting student from China. Prior to attending Fordham, she has had internships at GE, Henkel, DHL and Industry and Commercial Bank of China where she gained valuable working experience in accounting, financial services, and marketing. She is also enthusiastic about volunteer work. Her volunteer work includes teaching English to mentally disabled students, and helping low income people file tax returns. In addition, she has published two articles about the research of business operation model and her volunteer experience in Xinmin Newspaper, one of the biggest newspapers in China.
Shlomo Garbi, Vice President of Communication
Shlomo Garbi is a full time, first year MBA student with a concentration in Marketing. Prior to attending Fordham, Shlomo established and branded a gourmet business catering and special event company that had notable mention in Israel’s leading business magazine. Along with strong management, entrepreneur and marketing abilities, Shlomo has a great understanding of technology. He created and managed an online marketing campaign and designed websites using HTML and editing platforms. He looks forward to working in the technology industry with a focus in marketing. Shlomo earned his Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Tel Aviv University in Israel, and graduated with Honors form the Israel Defense Army.
Will Metzidakis, Vice President of Finance
Will is a first year, full time MBA student majoring in Finance & Accounting. Outside of class, Will is currently interning as a Financial Analyst at Mokhus LLC, a Private Equity firm in their Capital Markets group. Prior to business school, Will worked as a Managing Consultant at Michael Page International in their corporate finance practice. Here his work focused primarily on search execution, project management, market research,and business development within the Fortune 500 space. His clients included major advertising, television, digital media, fashion, luxury retail, and professional services firms. Prior to Michael Page, Will worked in Management at Enterprise Rent a Car, where he ran business operations for three offices in Manhattan. Here he oversaw a staff of 15 employees, and was responsible for logistics, budgeting, sales planning, and cost control for over $7 million of company assets. Will holds a BA in Economics from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and also studied Financial Economics at the University of Paris, Dauphine. Will is fluent in French.
