FES is a Fordham Graduate School of Business Administration extracurricular organization comprised of MBA students with the desire to become successful entrepreneurs. Currently, FES strives to promote entrepreneurship within the Fordham University community as well as assist all entrepreneurs in the development of their business ideas. Future ambitions of FES include the creation of an entrepreneur database system and discussion forum which will bring together all entrepreneurs through a single point of contact.
FES maintains close ties to Fordham’s Entrepreneur Center, an organization which offers Fordham students and alumni the necessary resources to begin a business.
MISSION STATEMENT
To provide an opportunity in which Fordham University MBA students students may foster and share in the development of their entrepreneurial skills and aspirations while providing a community of networking to all with the same ambition.
WHAT IS FES
FES provides Fordham graduate students, alumni and other entrepreneur organizations an opportunity to participate in events and networking activities relating to the development of entrepreneurial talents. Some events and activities include:
- Guest speakers
- Social events
- Student consultation programs
- Business plan writing contests
- Venture capital contests
